Perfectly Pink*******

This winter weather is such a drag but that doesn't mean fashion and style has to be frozen!
 I completely wanted to let go of that concept and this #ootd does the trick!
I will say this is slowly becoming a memorable look for me and may just become one of my favorites for kicking off the year!
2015 is all about switching things up and for me that means being brighter!
Usually I play it  safe and go for more neutral tones and shades but not today!

Without further delay here it is!
Here I have on a fun asymmetrical off white with a pink hue blazer from DressBarn. I love everything about this blazer because the shape just gives any simple outfit "LIFE"!!!

You can make the simplest outfit look chic with this blazer so may a note to get one for your wardrobe. 









You can find similar styles at  H&M . Underneath I have on the most amazing pink crop top! This mesh flower crop top is from Marshall's . This Top is just way too cute1 Yes, I agree crop tops are for the summer but with the right accessories like this blazer I think it can be pulled off for a date night!

I paired it with Jeans from JCPenney . I love their skinny jeans because they give the absolute perfect fit!
My accessories are just the best! This pink floral necklace is one of my favorite pieces from Avon .
My platform pink pumps are also a classic choice for this look because of how it compliments the crop top and necklace!

I love this outfit for a day out to the mall or a lunch date with ladies!

Holidays done Simply**

As we come to the close of another amazing year I am grateful for the exciting street style statements on the rise especially during this season.
I am all about how to keep fashion simply chic and elegant at all times, and for the holiday it should be no different!
Most people go the extravagant route for the holidays with the over the top and grand accessories. That of all which I love but how do you approach the day to day route during this reason in a fashion forward way!
Fashion is only dictated to us four times a year. Style on the other hand is something you just have to have!
Don't worry I am here to show you how it's done!

Here is my OOTD and I hope it inspires you.
Today I have on one of my favorite colors electric blue!  

 My blouse is electric blue with draw button sleeves from Marshall's . This shirt is sheer and gorgeous for going out or being casual. I am all about styles that are versatile and can open up your wardrobe. 

I added a black vest with a blue and white pin stripe from one of my favorite boutiques but you can get something similar to this at DressBarn .
This vest has a very vintage yet masculine feel which I love because sometimes a men's cut statement piece can give you outfit an entire different depth it didn't have before.
My suggestion is be open to masculine piece in your wardrobe from time to time they make great accessories and create an edgy feel.

My new favorite piece that I have is my faux feather skirt from Joe Fresh . I absolutely have fallen head over heels for this piece. It's cute, chic, and most importantly FUNCTIONAL!!!!!! This skirt has pockets! I love fashion that is  simply chic and practical. 
That is my signature , looking good with a purpose. To me more over that was money well spent. On to my fabulous accessories! 






I have on some electric blue and gold heels  Platforms are
great and they give you extra support. My bag is an electric blue top handle tote from Kenneth Cole .

60's Inspired

Today I would like to do something really special and step out of my element a little bit. I love the over the top glam look, but what if I tone it down and go for a more mod look.
Fashion is taking a bit of a spin this time around and it is all about the '60's Inspired Fashion Trends that are taking the world by storm.
I figured why let everyone else have all the fun.I.m going to join in and add my own personal touch.
Without further delay here is the OOTD!


 Today I have on a graphic pencil skirt by Worthington at JCPenney.
This skirt absolutely perfect for getting that professional look with ease and comfort. This is a great pick that can go for a day in the office or an afternoon brunch!




I paired this with a grey peasant collar cape from Marshalls . Capes are an amazing accessory to add to any outfit this season to give it that chic cohesive look which unifies the entire outfit.
On the inside layer I have on a black seamless turtle neck from DressBarn .





This turtleneck blouse is comfortable and keeps you warm during this winter season which makes this the perfect inside layering.
As for my shoes I have on some mod century pumps from Payless .

 Accessories are a definite when it comes to the '60's Inspiration! Here I have on square black shimmer studs. I also have on a geometric black bracelet from H&M  and a 3D Ring from a vintage boutique.

 Through out this beauty journey I have stuck it out with SheaMoisture makeup and I must say that I love this line. You can achieve this look with all products from SheaMoisture. This company is definitely dedicated to creating A BETTER WAY TO BEAUTIFUL!

*Cozy.Fall.Chic**

How is a fashionista suppose to survive the fashion scene in this weather? Don't panic!This MFK Fashion Friday I'm gonna show you how!
Today I wanted to give you a little spin on how to be savy, warm, and fashionable all at the same time. Usually most people are just looking to stay warm during this time of year but why let your style be put to the side. Let your inner street style maven shine through this cool weather and be fashionably functional.
Now I am going to give you the details of this OOTD that you are just going to love.

Here I have on a basic rich chocolate brown long sleeve shirt from H&M . They always have a great sale for all the basics you will need in your closet. This particular top was on sale for 2 for $10.
Not to be under dressed I decided to add my black flare shawl from Marshall's .

You can always find something cute and fashion forward from there. You may not find the same pieces at the same location, make sure you go to more than one just to breeze through some of your favorite sections.
To bring out the fun flare style of the shawl I decided to grab a brown patent leather belt and placed it around my wait over the shawl. This will accentuate your waist line and keep you looking fabulous. I decided to wear some comfy blue jeans from JCPenney . They make the best jeans that fit to your body type. Make sure you grab a pair this holiday season.





As for my accessories, I wanted to wear gold necklace that would reflect in my heels. My shoes are Baby Phat with a touch of leopard fur at the toe and goals beading around the toe. These shoes are definitely cute and functional because the heels aren't so high and you could wear them to work.
I threw on a faux fur hat to be a  little over the top and warm this season.

This look is a definite win all the way around. You can wear this on a date night or to go to the movies. Either way you can be fashion forward  this season without being style deprived!
My makeup this evening is by SheaMoisture. I am sticking with this line because it is a go to espcially as I test it out in the winter weather. The new favorite of mine would have to be the lip crayon called Olivia.

This natural shade is beautiful and rich which is a favorite tone of lipstick for this season.!

**Fall Pastel Romance**

Lately I have been wondering about what pastels are being worn this fall. Usually the time of year for pastel are more in the spring around Easter.
What if I tried to pull some pastels out before it gets too cold outdoors.
I am in love with the idea of pastels for the fall so join me on this journey of romantic colors for this OOTD.
This outfit is inspired  by the beautiful color changing leaves of the season.
Why not let nature draw your attention to your wardrobe.
Now, it's about that time for me to run through the details of this fine look.
Today I have on this cream colored fashion sweater from Marshall's . This sweater is fabulous and warm. It has a simple style that can be worn either dressed up or dressed down which I love. Keeping your fashion forward pieces that can be worn in multiple  ways is a definite must in my book. Every time you buy something make sure you LOVE it before you take it out of the store.

Here I have paired my sweater with a pastel pink, cream, and chocolate flare skirt from Loft . Their pieces are amazing and high quality which is why I adore shopping in this store. 

This skirt is beautiful with feminine flare that just makes this look romantic and plain darling!
Why not wear this on a fashionable day out.


To accessorize this look I went for the pink pastel flowers that is a statement piece all on it's own! This little number is from Avon ! Again this company is the ultimate classic for fashion jewelry ! Make sure you grab one for someone special this holiday season! 

As for my shoes , these pastel pink beauties are from Rainbow .
You can always get a cute pair of heels for the night from here.


 Other than all the fashion talk, as for my beauty journey I am still going strong with SheaMoisture.
Right about  now I am loving the way the African Black Beauty Bar is making my skin even out and feel.
These products are a great line for rich and healthy skin.

Corduroy Obsession***

In this season I know it may be difficult to decide what to wear?
Some days can be warm and others can be quite chilly, which makes getting dressed a bit of a challenge.
Today I have the perfect outfit for this situation.
It's stylish and comfortable for these cool fall days.
Here is the OOTD!
Today I have on a tan corduroy wide sleeve blazer from (Marshall's).
This jacket is a great light weight transition coat. You can wear this with plenty accessories  such as infinity scarves and wool hats because of the neutral color palette.
I paired this with a beautiful blue and silver crystal cross white tank from (Cache).
This tank is beautiful and creates a bejeweled look around your neckline so there is no need for a necklace.
In order for this outfit to come together I added some comfort boot cut jeans from ( Marshall's).
Marshall's usually has a huge selection of jeans, but soft jeans aren't usually the first thing you find which makes this #FabFound a jewel!
As for accessories I only added some simple studs because I didn't want to compete with the tank.
I decided to go with my rust,grey , and burgundy shoes from (Payless) 
I know it's an unlikely place but they have some funky unique shoes every once in a while.
I am still walking down the path of this beauty cosmetic journey and so far I have found a product that works.


I have been using SheaMoisture African Black Body Bar  on my face. It has completely evened out my complexion and soften my skin. As for make up I haven using the Contouring Kit.
These products have been growing on me look out for videos on the YouTube Channel.

*The New Casual*

This time of year can be extremely tricky for a fashionista. At times it may be warm but most times it's a bit chilly so there remains the question "What to wear?". 
Today I thought what would be a casual chic style that's practical. For the majority ladies we don't wear stilettos to work. 
What about the ladies who just aren't drawn to wearing 5 inch heels ? There must be a stylish medium for each scenerio.
Here it is! Comfort and casual can have a  romance where your outfit is concerned. On a day like today I have on this rich bright purple full crew neck sweater from (Marshall's). This sweater is a definate staple for fall and winter because it's warm a fashion forward.
Over this I have on a light weight irredecent purple leather jacket. This I grabbed a cute vintage boutique. You can find some like this at (H&M) or (Target) . 
I decided to pair this look some dark wash skinny leg denim from (JCPenney). They are one of the best places to pick up jeans because they are fabulous and fit like a glove.
If you have hips like me sometimes it can be difficult to find a good pair of jeans but don't fear JCPenney is a good one stop shop!
Accessories are pretty simple! Here I decided to go with some beautiful gold drop earrings from (Avon). As I have mentioned before they are an oldie but goodie! They have always had a great jewelry department. 
These boots are what make this look! I always have loved over the knee boots. 

They are one of my guilty pleasures of the season. Here I have on black leather flat boots but any other time I would have on heels!
These are great for all occasions in this season so yes, they are a great investment.
As for my makeup! Yes I am still on finding the right makeup line that I'm in love with. 
Slowly but surely I'm leaning  towards SheaMoisture. I am loving the  SheaMoisture Contour and Cover Up Kit. 
Also I have been trying the Lip Crayon and Lip Stains. Look out for the videos for them coming soon!

Sequins Glamazon*****

It has definitely been a while since Mz. Fashion Kulture has given you a complete glamazon look. I must say I have waited too long but I am here to give you the all time glam look to inspire.
This look is nothing short of fabulous if I do say so myself! You make this look happen for a party  on the girls night out or a date night with your special someone. Either way this one is head turner.

Without further delay here it is! I like to call this one "Sequins Glamazon"
I know it's a bit dramatic, but hey, some of the best creations were dramatic.

Back to the details of this look. Here I have on a suede asymmetrical grey blazer from Marshalls . I cannot express how much I adore the fabulous finds that I see in there. I must stress that you have to search hard to find the good pieces, but once you have them your set!

I have underneath a sequins black,white, and silver tank from vintage boutique. You can find similar sequin tanks at Target .It's comfortable and light weight so you won't be too warm where you want to take off your cute blazer.
I have on a rustic pencil skirt by Worthington from JCPenney . This skirt is comfy and thick which is good for this weather from this time of year. You can be stylish and keep warm.
The shoes are from Burlington Coat Factory and I love them. They work for majority of your different styyles because of the neutral color.
As for accessories, I wasn't going to out do the tank so i just added some "V" shaped earrings.
I like to keep things simple and classy at all times and this look is nothing short of that.

This look can be changed a little to fit your style as well. I suggest if it's cooler you can wear some cute tights and ankle boots with a sheer scarf. This way you could stay warm and comfortable for those cool city nights.
If you want you can even add a funky hat as well to add some versatility.
This look is a complete no brainer that will have all eyes on you where ever you decide to go. 
Fashionistas don't break too many hearts out there!
