The Sweater Revolution

Here I am back on the scene with a piece i can't wait to share with you.
I am slowly becoming more attracted to sweaters with every winter that goes by and this year I will confess that I have a new favorite.

As seen here I have on grey and navy tribal sweater that is just every bit of fabulous as it is warm.
It features a reverse tuxedo effect, the back is short and the front sides are long with tassels at the perimeter.
You can wear this to work in the office or to the mall or the movies.
I just love versatile pieces!

Signature Stripes

You all must know how I love to wear black and white. Besides the fact that I have to wear it for work , it is one of my favorite combinations. Here I paired some black and white stripes with solid black pieces to create a stylish day look that can easily become a  outfit for a night out.

When wearing traditional color combinations like black and white I like to break it up with a statement necklace or a bold choice for lipstick.
This sleeveless blouse is so simple and chic, but to add some flair I decided to tie the bottom in a knot.
By buttoning the blouse to the top and adding the necklace under the collar gives off a more preppy modest look. Keeping  it classy ladies is always stylish.
This look is slowly becoming one of my go to looks and I am just so excited.

Details of this look are as follows........

Skirt: Rainbow

Until next time my loves...............

Birthday in Blush

For me it's #capricornseason for all of January!
I am so blessed to see another year and I couldn't be more thankful. As a result you already know that I had to look the part.

This year I decided to go with a warm nude body con dress. This dress features long sleeves and a plunge neckline and high front split.
I [aired this look with a blue green fantasy statement necklace and rose gold shoes.
I want to sparkle like a diamond on my special day.

My favorite part of tis dress was that the material was a thick nylon. Being that my birthday is in the winter sometimes it can be hard to find a dress thats stylish, sassy, and warm. This dress covered every category and that had me so excited.

Wild Thang

Animal prints have always been a topic for the fashion world that can be chic or trashy. Today I think I want it to just be chic.

This sheer tank gives movement and boldness in a way that shouldn't be out done by accessories.

Light weight trousers  and a long black vest helped create a sleek look to this outfit.
A fabulous idea for these trendy streets!

This look is great for a day at the mall or a run to the movies with friends.

Oh My Peaches!!

This season there is plenty of peach going around and I believe that this is a universal color that everyone can relate to.

This outfit is casual chic style with little effort to making your everyday look fresh which is what you should strive for.

This look features color blocking in the center lining of the blouse and distress accents to the denim shorts.

Don't believe the hype that shorts can only be casual you can dress them up as well so keep that in mind! Give your shorts new purpose this year.

MFK 50 Shades of Grey....

This week I felt like going back to my first love, I want to do a grey scale look that is more edgy and editorial.
Style is all about being the only one, a unique glare that only you get and that is what I am here to do with this post.
As I break some fashion rules here I go with my OOTD

Here I have on a silver metallic sweater from H&M.
Classics are always great for layering with  multiple textures. Here I also added  a suede grey asymmetrical jacket from Marshall's.
The mix of the metallic mesh from the sweater and the suede from the jackets a fun mix for me!
I paired this also with a dark pair of Charcoal grey leggings from JCPenney.
As for my shoes I went with black ankle booties. You can find similar at Aldo or Steve Madden.
I decided to go with a black and gold hardware tote bag from H&M.
I just love how all of it comes together in a casual chic way!

This look is a fabulous choice for a regular day to become a stylish one..
