Polka Dot Spotted***

Here we are in the new year and I am committed even more to stepping into the "REAL" me!


I have decided to stick to my new coined phrase of being the "simply chic" blogger. For some time I have been searching for what my niche is but the entire time I already had one! 

My style is simple and chic and for me it comes effortlessly. This year it's all about sticking to my truth and watching my growth.
As I step into this new year here is the official first OOTD that I am excited to share.


Here I have on a black and off white polka dot blouse from DressBarn . I have always had a soft spot for polka dots. Most people don't like them because they claim it makes you look unflattering. 







I believe polka dots are fun and if paired with another pattern it could actually make you look smaller!
I have paired this with one of my favorite black tuxedo jacket from Loft .

This jacket is sleek and sophisticated! I love the entire feel and elegance this adds to any outfit!
I also have on these off white tailored pants that are also from DressBarn! 
These slacks are comfortable and sleek. This tailored fit keeps this look crisp and simple yet elegant. You can definitely go to the office or a day party in an outfit like this.
If you must go to work why not be fashionable about it I always say!
Since I have decided to go for this all classic look I added some classic  black suede stilettos from Prima Donna .


 As for my accessories I try to keep it simple with one of my favorite pieces a white 5 tiered statement necklace. This falls perfectly in the sweetheart neckline!
This year I would like to reiterate the importance the less is in fact more. You don't have to try so hard to be like the "bad chicks" with the long hair and over the top everything. Having a sleek look that's timeless now that to me is everything!

 I love to mix different products once you get a handle on how they work.
One of my favorite things to do is mix my foundations. I like to mix the SheaMoisture and L'oreal true Match because it give me better coverage and a smooth finish.
 For me I have my usual go to that I stick with but don't be afraid to try something new just once because you never know it may just become your new favorite thing!

Fashion's Night Out Celebration

 I have been in high expectation these last few weeks in anticipation for the event of all time! A (Fashion Night Out) was one to remember and if you weren't there you definitely missed out!
We were excited from start to end!

We were turned up to 100 as we celebrated the launch of Mz. Fashion Kulture at (The Stacey Ciceron Studio)
There are plenty of points to mention and people to acknowledge so I'm going to get started!
First I want to thank Stacey Ciceron for arranging this party! Without her this wouldn't be possible.

This night was all fun and filled to the max with friends and family all to support of Mz. Fashion Kulture and my fashion media career. 
Of course it's all about the fashion tonight so here it is! 
I'll start with me, I have on a platinum cocktail dress from (Jessica-McClintock).

 I love her gowns because their fabulous for all your major occasions. My all platinum metallic  shoes are (Jessica Simpson) . All of her shoes are amazingly comfortable which is key for a diva! You always have to be fashion forward at all times and comfortable shoes can make that happen.

 A Fashion's Night Out would be nothing without a splash of fashion by Robert Luxurious!




I did promise some amazing fashion designs from the one and only  fashion designer Robert Luxurious and his line Glamour X Cruelty!  

His fierce creations were inspired by fun girls night out in NYC. I mean who wouldn't want some custom made pieces in their wardrobe for a night out.
These pieces were black and sleek with amazing attention to detail. It's all about the plush and sexy textures in the fabric and feminine heels.
I know you all must want to know my personal favorite well I must say it had to be the blue and black shimmer see through crop top and red carpet skirt!
This sillohette and 40's inspired hairstyle just pulled this entire collection together !

I thank all the beautiful models for being apart of this night.

  You were all nothing short of amazing!
During the fashion presentation I gave my commentary on the looks and different ways you could change it up.

Two lucky guests won the beautiful raffle prizes that evening which included a gorgeous flower arrangement from Elegant Florals and Gifts by Glaredge 
and  a makeup starter basket from Shea Moisture with their new beauty line (A better way to beautiful).
The guests came out in full force sporting trends and street style looks to envy.


A favorite of the night were the faux fur vest! Those are slowly becoming a fashionistas must have this season.

Why have a party without a purpose?
Since it is Breast Cancer Awareness month, The Stacey Ciceron Studio has some pink studio shirts on sale to raise money for Breast Cancer.


I was surrounded by all amazing people from left to right and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Geek Chic Gal

Everyday you rise you are to be thankful for another day and start new! Today I have done just that. I decided to take a risk with my look and try something different. Style is personal and  I am always here to share my personal style and favorites with you.


 Usually I like to look sleek and a bit sexy, but this outfit I decided to go an entirely different route. This look I am calling my "geek chic" look. This reminds me of the comfort of warm stylish sweaters that I love during this time of year.
Without further delay here are the details on this look!

 I have a color block Geometric sweater  by "I heart Robinson"from JCPenney (I Heart Robinson at JCP).
This sweater has become one of my favorites because it's extremely comfortable and you can wear it with a button down blouse or  with just a simple tank . I decided to add a purple collared blouse underneath by  Loft. Either way you will look cute and sophisticated.

My blue skinny jeans that I paired it with is also from JCPenney (Skinny Leg Jeans).
As you can tell I just love shopping at JCPenney ! They are just the best place to shop for your daily essentials in the fashion world.

These jeans are staples for your wardrobe especially during the fall season. These will go great also with booties or even blue or grey  UGGZ (Classic Uggz).
As for the accessories all I have to say is the more  simple, the  better. I never want to distract from the main part of my outfit and here it is the sweater. Nonetheless accessories are always necessary.
Like this hat for example! It's a cute accessory but not necessary! I just love to show you the options that you have with these looks.

The heels are my cobalt blue stiletto from Rainbow (Rainbow Shoes). These are slowly becoming a favorite on the blog by the way! Ladies take my advice and grab your pair before they run out.
I love this look because its very conservative and yet unique. Lately I have been reminded of the importance of being different and standing out from the crowd. There is nothing wrong with being yourself and loving your individuality.

Here I am embracing something new and asking you all to join in with me!
