The Sweater Revolution

Here I am back on the scene with a piece i can't wait to share with you.
I am slowly becoming more attracted to sweaters with every winter that goes by and this year I will confess that I have a new favorite.

As seen here I have on grey and navy tribal sweater that is just every bit of fabulous as it is warm.
It features a reverse tuxedo effect, the back is short and the front sides are long with tassels at the perimeter.
You can wear this to work in the office or to the mall or the movies.
I just love versatile pieces!

Signature Stripes

You all must know how I love to wear black and white. Besides the fact that I have to wear it for work , it is one of my favorite combinations. Here I paired some black and white stripes with solid black pieces to create a stylish day look that can easily become a  outfit for a night out.

When wearing traditional color combinations like black and white I like to break it up with a statement necklace or a bold choice for lipstick.
This sleeveless blouse is so simple and chic, but to add some flair I decided to tie the bottom in a knot.
By buttoning the blouse to the top and adding the necklace under the collar gives off a more preppy modest look. Keeping  it classy ladies is always stylish.
This look is slowly becoming one of my go to looks and I am just so excited.

Details of this look are as follows........

Blouse:H&m
Jacket: Avenue
Skirt: Rainbow
Boots: Avenue
Necklace: Avenue

Until next time my loves...............

Birthday in Blush

For me it's #capricornseason for all of January!
I am so blessed to see another year and I couldn't be more thankful. As a result you already know that I had to look the part.

This year I decided to go with a warm nude body con dress. This dress features long sleeves and a plunge neckline and high front split.
I [aired this look with a blue green fantasy statement necklace and rose gold shoes.
I want to sparkle like a diamond on my special day.

My favorite part of tis dress was that the material was a thick nylon. Being that my birthday is in the winter sometimes it can be hard to find a dress thats stylish, sassy, and warm. This dress covered every category and that had me so excited.

Just keeping it real simple today guys with this is look!
I always wanted to have something sleek and chic with extreme attention to detail and I know this outfit embodies it!

A definite win for that all black affair.
This look sports a sheer top with artistic detailing and a high low full skirt.

Wild Thang

Animal prints have always been a topic for the fashion world that can be chic or trashy. Today I think I want it to just be chic.

This sheer tank gives movement and boldness in a way that shouldn't be out done by accessories.

Light weight trousers  and a long black vest helped create a sleek look to this outfit.
A fabulous idea for these trendy streets!

This look is great for a day at the mall or a run to the movies with friends.

Tell me what are your thoughts ?

It's Just a Fringe Frenzy

Today, I wanted to try something a little more fun and flirty!
I thought why not try it and possibly inspire another to do the same.
This look is all about being flirty and sassy at the same time and what better way than with Fringe.

Fringe is a detail that sometimes gets so overlooked but when you allow it to be the center of attention it can be  powerfully stylish.

This look features fringe at the bottom of the loose fitted blouse.
Casual leggings and some subtle sexy shoes.
Mesh is always a plus when you want to get a double take!

What are your thoughts?
Engage and try something similar to your look today!

Oh My Peaches!!

This season there is plenty of peach going around and I believe that this is a universal color that everyone can relate to.

This outfit is casual chic style with little effort to making your everyday look fresh which is what you should strive for.

This look features color blocking in the center lining of the blouse and distress accents to the denim shorts.

Don't believe the hype that shorts can only be casual you can dress them up as well so keep that in mind! Give your shorts new purpose this year.

Trench coats & Booties

As you have been well aware that this winter has be quite different than our other years!
It's definitely warmer and as a result our winter usuals have changed.
I have this fab OOTD I wanted to share with you and show you why ankle booties are the way to go!
Here I have on a sea green button down blouse from Marshall's .
Love this color because it's so unique and very rare to find during this time of the year.
I decided to pair this with some black leggings from JCPenney.
Of course one of my fav "go-to's " for leggings all year round! They are actually always great for having a sale so be sure to stop in .
I also added my black trench coat from H&M . This trench coat is a perfect choice for this type of weather because of it's light weight.
I also love it because of the faux leather trim on the shoulders and pockets.
My favorite accessory this time would have to be my suede ankle booties! I am so in love they are comfortable and extremely stylish ! Be sure to buy a pair before the season is through.
This is the perfect idea for a chic city girl or a girl on "the Island"  who wants to to be casually chic!

You can find similar looks in Zara and Call it Spring!

Manager ON DUTY****

Being a young woman On the go while being fashionable  is sometimes harder than you think.
Today I thought why not share my working woman attire to give a sneak peak into my everyday.
Salon life is based on all black attire. While keeping it "back to the basics " I thought why not keep things  a little chic and fun!
As seen here I have on a black light trench coat from H&M .

I also have on a black button down blouse from Burlington Coat Factory tucked into my black leggings from JCPenney.
To add a bit if jazz to this look I added a black pin stripe best from Annie Sez.
As for shoes I have on suede ankle booties and you can find similar styles from Old Navy.
Pops of color are a great idea when wearing one solid color.
I did just that with my soft rise pink statement necklace , you can find similar pieces at Forever21 or Prima Donna.
This outfit is straight out of my favorites. All the pieces to this outfit comes from my favorite places so that is always a plus!
You can get a fabulously chic look from anywhere as long as you low how to make the look your own.
I hope my OOTD will inspire your next work look!

On a Casual Day***

Oh Just another fabulous day to be well dressed and this time I am going to be casual chic.

The summer is still going strong with weather in the high 80's , and this casual chic OOTD is just what the season ordered.

Without further delay let me share my outfit details!!!!

As seen here I have on a pink floral print mesh halter top from Marshall's.
This crop top is perfect for this humid weather because you can show some skin in a classy way and still feel a slight breeze. When wearing a top like this you can wear a bra the same color as your outfit which is what I did here.
I paired this top with a pair of charcoal grey leggings from JCPenney.
These "Mixx It" leggings come in cute patterns and solid colors and the best part is that they are NOT see through.
Ladies these are a steal because they are always on a greasy sale.
As for my accessories I have on a gold played pink medallion necklace. You can find similar looks at Aldo.
My natural tone clutch is from NY&Co.
Here I have on coral pink single strap pumps that ties this together from head to heels! You can find similar looks at Lily's Kloset.
Sometimes going casual is the way to go, with a look like this I am all for it.
I hope this OOTD inspired your next casual chic look for a day out at the mall or brunch with the ladies !

Stay tuned for more exciting posts as week are entering NYFW!!!!

I'm so excited and I have some surprises for you, just wait !

Blue Swank

Oh so blue!
At this point I'm sure most have realized that this is my favorite color. As usual I'm always trying to give a new statement with each look and so far this one I really like.
This OOTD is more fr me as a twist on nautical chic. I want to look chic and sassy!
With that in mind this is what I came up with, and I cannot wait to share it!
As seen here I have on a blue, white, and green zig - zag tube top from  Marshall's.
I love this top because you can be versatile with it, you can dress it up or down. This is a definite plus for your summer shopping list, you can find similar looks in Joe Fresh.
I paired this with a dark indigo denim pencil skirt from New York and Co.
This has been one of my favorites in my wardrobe for the longest time! Denim skirts are hard to come by that look sleek so believe me I'm enjoying every bit of this skirt!
As for my accessories you know I always have to add a splash of color  from time to time ! This time I added a acid yellow beaded statement necklace . You can find similar looks in Prima Donna.
Also I have on acid yellow stilettos with a clear top strap, you can find similar shoes at Lolashoetique.com

This look is truly a fabulous look for a summer date night without a doubt.
I do hope this OOTD will inspire your next outfit.

Mercedes Benz NYFW****

In the fashion world, NYFW is the craziest , exotic, hectic and chicest week that the city has ever seen!
All fashion lovers come together to see the new collections from the top designers and well, what else is there!
In the past four to five years street style and major bloggers have been making moves and creating buzz worthy looks for even the runway to envy!
With that being said, Mz. Fashion Kulture has to leave her mark on NYFW too!
On my way to Lincoln Center I decided to not let the bitter cold stop my fashion parade!
Here as seen I have on my black and white army vintage blazer from Marshall's . This jacket was perfect for the artic chill because it's cute yet heavy enough to keep you warm!
Undneath I have on a soft blue suede boyfriend blouse. I love this because it's versatile and adds texture. You can find similar looks in a vintage boutique!
I added a pair of blue jeans from JCPenney to keep this look simply chic.
My shoes were black leather knee high boots! These are comfortable and fashion forward choice, remember that functional fashion is always in style!
As for my accessories I added a heavy white and gold rope chain for some needed drama!
By placing the necklace outside under the collar gives a more preppy feel to any outfit , keep that in mind when getting dressed!
I enjoyed my experience at MBNYFW! It's any fashion bloggers holiday! I even met a new face in the crowd !

Can't wait for all the fabulous excitement coming up in September !!

I hope my NYFW outfit inspo will help you look simply chic for your next outing as I close out fashion week with a bang!

Yes, I got photo bombed by security! Love it!!!!!
