Pastel love affair

Even as the days go by this winter, we have been experiencing some nicer weather. This called for a more colorful approach to my look of the day. Anything can inspire the creativity in your style. Today I decided to go with my pastel sweater dress with metallic gold accents!(compliments of Santa!) 
I paired it with some classic black leggings and black Uggz. Now I do recommend if you have the turquoise or pink Uggz wear them with this.
As seen hear I added some bright color pieces to compliment my colorful attire. I decided to go with a show piece rose gold ring, irredecent pink earrings and a pink charm bracelet to add a whimsical flare.
Today was all about being bright and cheerful in your outfit choice. Later on for a night out choose something a little more subtle.

It is always great to have the basic neutral colors in your wardrobe. Today I decided to go for a splash of red to brighten up this clutch. You can add bold gold accessories to go with it if you like. These pieces are great for lunch or date night whichever you prefer.

It's the day after Christmas and you know what that means. Crazy day after sales and all the major gift returns. In the middle if this frantic ordeal I still find a way to stay on a more fashionable note.

Today I opted for an all black chic outfit. This helps to blend in the crowd in a sleek chic way without being noticed too much. ( this way you can be in and out of  the store quickly) 
I added one of my favorite Christmas gifts my heavy silver plated chain necklace. This is a statement piece to draw bold attention to the neckline when you have on one color from head to toe. This breaks up the solid color.
Today is about accessories! While shopping I stumbled upon this chic hat. 
It just made this outfit !!!!!

Sometimes it doesn't take much to have a simple look chic and over the to. The only thing is you need to know how to jazz it up

Snow angel

In the snow, it 'a really beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Some people may call it inconvenient but it's one of the most beautiful elements of this season. At times like today it makes everything feel a little magical.
The only item I brag about having on today is my faux fur infinity scarf. I wear it for warmth but on a day like today you can really appreciate it. Today I wore my black Timberland boots that cons up to the knee. This time you have to put the glamouros shoes to the side on a day like today.
Now if you would like more variety, I would advise you wear your waterproof Uggz or if you have cute rain boots because of the grip on the bottom.

In the season with weather that's ice cold, our fashion can only comply. This time of year feels ice cold as a marble statue. At times your emotions can take this on as well. (Sidebar)
Even though the actual art expression seems cold because of the physical stone the emotion that is expressed is from a warm place even showing compassion.
In the Picasso setting and tone turns the inspiration for a fashionista. Here I took to all black and a black and great floral scarf for a feminine touch.
With my hair slick down with a chic side part. This style is more reminiscent of the old Hollywood. With a a leather bomber jacket with a plush faux fur hood.
The fur on the hood keeps you warm for those cold days and nights. Add a pair of warm Uggz so that my feet will be equally as warm.
Now you can wear a bright color pair of Uggz especially when you have on all black. That pop of color will attract the eye. 
No matter the weather you should keep up to date with your trends while staying warm. Have a great weekend, and of course do too much shopping for the holidays!!!!

Dripping in Pearls and Fur

On a snowy day like today you need some spicy inspiration. This holiday season I'm beginning to feel the holiday spirit. On that note I decided to add some red and black with pearls.
This look is a great inspo for a holiday party!
To keep warm I added that faux fur scarf. You can wear the scarf down or up as a hood. To add a layer of texture I added the ruffled skirt. Pearls and a red sweater for a pop of color.
You can wear red or black pumps, here with this I chose to do red.

In this industry, it 's hard for style conscious women who don't fit into a size 2 to find stylish clothing. Again another powerhouse label is jumping into this arena and dominating a untapped target customer. 
Mango is launching their plus size collection in the early part of 2014. This will work in their favor especially with the negative press of body image for average women that the industry has been receiving. Looking forward to this collection and if it does well their revenues will prove it's success .

Counting down the days to Christmas , how can you focus on how to be trendy during this holiday season? Keep following me here at Fashion Kulture, and I will keep you up on what to do!
As you would expect the general holiday sequins is a major role as it does every year. I believe that it's taking a more chic approach with pastels and with the traditional silver and gold more so in sweaters. 
If you aren't a sweater person a new trend with sequins that's popping up are sequin ankle pants.
Colors and metallics are also taking full charge. This year I am noticing the trends of the 20 's coming back. The classy and feminine looks with elegant cuts and draping is something to look out for when purchasing that holiday party dress!
Now back the basic holiday looks for running errands and buying gifts. This is simple, the new trend going on is faux fur. I am an animal lover so this solution and trend works just fine for me! Now in sweaters, vests, and scarfs this trend is becoming more popular by the second.
Keep these inspo ideas in mind when your going out to a holiday party or just to do that holiday shopping. Keeping notified about trends like these can inspire you to put a spin or twist on some of your favorite outfits. 
Remember you don't need to do too much, sometimes all you may need are two new accessories to turn something bland into something great!!

Accessory Junky

Accessories are great when paying attention to details. Details are what can make or break an outfit in a good or bad way. Today I just wanted to shine some light on this topic.
Right now the trend in fashion is all about mixing patterns,textures, and colors. Here are some ideas I put together for this season.
Bright colors with florals are a great choice. I added layers of gold to bring out the yellow and blue hues in the scarf. I always remind people don't be afraid of of layering multiple pieces. Wear this with skinny jeans and a cute jacket and you will be stunning.
This look is great for an afternoon lunch, hopefully this will inspire your next lunch date.
This set is all about making a statement with neutral  and warm colors. Colors that can be worn with this are chocolate brown, cream, black, white, orange, or green. These can call attention to the usual full stigma that are placed on the simplicity of neutral colors. Keep this inspiration when wearing those type of colors.
This choice is inspired for a cute combination for an interview. Also you can wear this to church. The pearls give it a classy elegance about whomever is wearing it. Which is always a plus !
Just shining some light on how accessorizing can work ultimately to your advantage especially when you don't want to look for a dramatic outfit.
