Sophisticated Bohemian

On a day like today when I am dreaming of relaxation in the sun my outfit had to match my thoughts. Today I grabbed my highlighter orange cropped  tee and a high waist maxi skirt.
To bring a sophisticated twist I added the blazer to this outfit. Usually the bohemian style is more relaxed and effortless, but I didn't want to completely go that route in the winter.
To jazz it up I added a heavy plated rope chain and studs. This pulls it all together because it has the black paint on the front side.
Keep in mind you could put any statement piece with this scoop neckline so don't worry this look can be achieved multiple ways.

What do you do on a cold winter afternoon and you have errand to run? Wear some fashionable and comfy clothing. For example a cute hoodie would be great choice!
Here I have it paired with one of my absolute favorite things, my paisley scarf.
To add some drama I put on the reflective shades to keep from people looking into my eyes! This murkier shades of grey is a great way to show that if you wear one color you can wear multiple shades of it and still be fashionable. 
Today just threw on some studs and a ring. I decided to keep it simple and completely casual. At the same time make sure people notice you.

Purple and Prints

This outfit is a style I chose in hopes of spring returning to us much faster! I know, just wishful thinking.
Other than that this outfit is a great one and the good thing is anyone can pull this look off. I decided to go with my leopard print dress and a purple cardigan sweater. Also a pair of black leggings and black ankle boots.
A great tip to remember is when wearing prints, if it's black and white you can add bright colors to bring some type of simplicity this way you don't look too busy.
Also another point I will make is that my dress is short but an a- line cut if you have hips and thighs that could be a problem. Find a length that can be comfortable without you sending the wrong message. If your juicier, that's fine just get a printed reds that's long and add flats and in the summer get some jewel sandals that match your statement necklace color!
  To jazz up the look and take it one step further I added a statement necklace in multiple of shades of purple and blue.
Accessories that are apart of the same family such as purple and blue go well together because they are both cool colors so they compliment one another.

Show me shoes

On my weekly style check I ran into a pair of the cutest shoes I've seen in a while. These shoes are amazing but I will say they aren't for everyone. If your ankles aren't good then these are not for you, I will say that. These shoes are a statement piece though.
These are definitely a reasonable price as well. If you are looking for something similar for a hot date or ladies night these were roughly $30. Please do understand that these shoes need to be worn with the proper outfit. If you want to wear them out in the day then play them down with some jeans so they won't come across as hooker-ish.
These are the hot shoe pick of the week so ladies go and indulge!!

Curls and chains

Loving this look. Today the look was more urban and dressed down. I am a little excited because yes, my birthday is coming up and I am so happy.
Now I believe that this trend was more started by Miley Cyrys. She loves this look but she layers it with Chanel vintage chains. 
Here I decided to go with silver chains but you can definately do gold. It has been my experience that with gold chains be careful, they can look very shiny and almost look plastic.
Cat eye shades are a definately a great accessory.
A plain white tee and a jean vest is really simple, but this look is all about the heavy jewelry and accessorie.
The great thing is this look is easily achieved for everyone and any shape. This is a great inspo to keep around!

Chic split

Despite the fact that it is foggy and full of rain I will not let that be an excuse for my style choices. Today I want to have that more chic look to continue this year. I opted for a chic sheer sleeve blouse. My blouse has beautiful chic split in the back that's sheer. Today I had on a tank but you don't have to.
The entire neckline is sheer and over the shoulder. Kept this look sleek with leggings and black boots. To jazz up this look I added gold jewelry.
This is a cute day outfit. If you would wear this on a date don't wear a cami under just a bra. This way it's sheer enough for your significant other to see and keep you close. Add heels preferably a stiletto.

New Year, New Me

Enjoying the celebration of a new year and all it brings, I believe you should dress the part! This year I want to be more sophisticated and overdressed among other things. You never know who you might run into so it is important to "keep face" whenever your going out.

This year in 2014 I would like to start off with a chic silhouette. I decided to go with black and burnt orange.
My waist skirt with a black turtle neck blouse will do the trick! I just added my black tuxedo jacket to top it off ! I decided to add a lovely statement necklace.
With my black booties in toe I am ready for the new year. I do hope you have had a great NewYear and prepare for the great things to come. Continue to always be fashionable and move forward.
