From time to time in the fashion industry there will be a trend that comes around that is set in a specific category  that doesn't cross the lines and become transitional. Fortunately I am here to explain that they can be!
This next trend that I am going to bring to your attention is a perfect example of that. Colored geometric patterns and prints are  slowly trying to become a transitional trend among cultures.
Originally this trend was introduced in the more classic, chic culture. Then it started to transition to the preppy looks then into the urban arena as time has been going on.
Ladies,this trend can be again a hit or miss so you need to pursue this correctly.  With that being said, you need to keep your style and body type in mind. Be aware of what colors look well on you so that you can use that to your advantage too.
You can wear this trend two ways. If you want to be classic you can wear a pattern and then wear plain accessories with it. The other way to wear this trend is to layer other prints if you want to be bold. 
Again, with layering prints on orints it can be tricky. You don't want to look as if you are confused. The best way to accomplish this is to wear different prints or patterns with the same color palette.
Just remember to stay true to your personal style at all times! To accessorize you can add a plated statement piece whether it be a necklace or some earrings. Be true to yourself.
You can wear this look in the day or to the office for an amazing outfit or outing with the ladies!

50's Classic

Enjoying the idea of spring I decided to indulge in some spring colors. Then I thought why not put a classic twist on it!
Just like in the classy 50's when women added feminine scarves to dress things up.
Today I played the part and ladies this is a great look that anyone can achieve!
I wore my fabulous open green blazer. To keep everything casual I wore a simple white tee and added a beautiful classic Burberry scarf.
This look is very chic and classy. You can wear this look in many ways! Here I wore it with some black pants. You can also wear it with a long or short skirt to be more feminine. To keep thing a little more urban you can wear it with some skinny jeans that have been ripped or torn. Things like that, bring out your own personal flare in a more classic style like this.
The scarf and and earrings make for simple accessories as well as a silver watch.
Know that you can add some drop earrings to be even more upscale. You can wear heels, boots, or flats with this look because of it's simplicity.
This outfit is also a daytime look. Keep it for a day on the job or out to lunch with the girls. It looks very cute and feminine which allows the you to keep that girly look.
Remember to keep fashion forward at all times.

Feminine Sunshine

All this time all I can think about is summer where are you! It seems like only a distant  memory with all the snow we have been receiving. With this cute number reminded me of why this is all worth the wait.
This canary yellow doll dress is everything feminine and bright.
The material is sheer and light which is great for those hot summer days. The pretty flow in the drapery and tiers in the skirt keep it fun and flirty. Especially the ones down the back!!!
To keep a touch of sexy the laced up middle cut out with the fringes at the end is a staple. Depending on how conservative you are you can tightenin it or loosen it up. 
This dress is very fun because of the versatility it offers. You can wear heels, ballet flats or sandals.
This outfit is definately for daytime only!!!!!! I must remind you that bright voluminous color can be a bit of a distraction at night!
Yes anyone can wear a style like this and I'm going to tell you how. If you have more hips and thighs then you can wear this as a too with some leggings or skin tight jeans.
For accessories I would suggest that you wear some amazing drop earrings. Now here you can be creative a bit. You can wear some pretty colors that you also reflect in your shoes.
Well ladies all you have to do is go out and prepare for spring and summer because it's on the way.

During these last few weeks there is a new street trend that is bringing some attention to the pop culture!
This renaissance trend is spreading like wild fire across the trending scene. Originally it was an urban trend that is now phasing into a global trend!!!
Also another great thing to know about this trend is that it's unisex. This can be either for men or women who love fashion and style. You can wear this trend in either bold colors or neutral tones. The neutral tones, however boring to some people these colors may seem actually bring out the trend more. 
The brighter colors take away from the authenticity of the renaissance feel, but it looks fashion forward either way!
Be true to your personal style no matter what! If you love jeans, wear them with this look and some cute heels. Or if you like to be a bit sexier and edgy you can wear some liquid leggings and some ankle booties or chic black heels.

Call spring into our atmosphere please! This snow and winter weather is keeping us in a frozen state of mind and there needs to be a dramatic change. Look no further than your nearest fashion boutique. The latest in fashion right be us all about floral flare pants! These pants are the hottest thing to have in your closet for this season.
For spring everyone will have these on with cute sandals or pretty colored heels. This look is absolutely going to be a sensation and a too favorite to keep in the warm weather. The light fabric and materials will allow for breeze to flow and keep you cool throughout the day.
Now, the trend is either bright colored patterns or florals, neutral tones with wide legs, or basic colors for chic looks.
To wear with these pants you can definately go with the traditional color tank or cami.
This time around you can wear the cropped sweaters or tee shirts that are more trendy this season. You can wear statement necklaces and heels to accessories this look. Also a perfect accessory to wear is a clutch to look more feminine. Remember when wearing the brighter colors try and keep things chic and classic because if there is too much colors it can become confused.

Yes! It's that time of the year, Fashion Week. For this show DVF had the talk about Show of the day. One of the most popular powerhouse names has done it again.  DVF has brought a show that reigned everything Gold!!!!! 
The show has payed homepage to the iconic wrap dress. Wrap dresses have been around for it's safe to say about 40 years.
In light of that the show was completely adorned in gold wrap dresses with amazing draping and detail.

The dresses in the finale were definate show stoppers. A wonderful show through and through. Another great knotch on the fashion forward belt.
In order to accomplish the similar looks for everyday wear that will not be a problem. DVF has designed amazing wrap dresses for everyday wear. Die the woman on a budget these dresses can be a but pricey do go to places like Target and Burlington Coat Factory. There you can get some amazing wrap dresses for any budget. I will say this depending on the color and pattern of the dress find something that works for you. 

If you are petite and slim the cute short above the knee wrap dresses are great with loud patterns and simple colors.
If you have curves, you can get a wrap dress below the knee and and a slightly lower cut. It's all about give and take because the dress is longer in length you can give a little more in the cleavage.

Stellar Award Stars

This evening, the show that has my fashion eye is the Stellar Awards. Fashionably speaking this show has a lot to hold up to as we all look onto the greats in the gospel industry for their talent but their style selections as well.
First up, is Tamela Mann! She looks absolutely amazing tonight.
Her choice is a shape fitting leather dress with cream lining. This dress is extremely flattering contrary to others belief. The style of the dress compliments her and the lining adds a simple touch of detail which ultimately accentuates her shape. This is one of the best looks of the night.

At home you can also accomplish this look but, just remember that the lining and length here is everything!

Next is Erica Campbell. Tonight her outfit is extremely chic. 
Tonight Erica decided to go with a black and white jumpsuit. This chic and femme fatale outfit which is reminiscent of the 20's just it for her. The accessories of choice were some gloves and a French style headpiece. This style has been in huge demand this fall.

This look can be done for a formal occasion at home you may be attending or going to a upscale resturant or dinner reservation.

Graphic and bold prints

There is a saying in the fashion world that applies to this trend I'm about to draw your attention to. "It will come back in style."
The bold funky graphic prints are most definitely trending right now! This is trend  is reminiscent of the 80's at a time where bigger and bolder was the name of the game. The fun patterns and prints were loud and daring and might I add, so was the hair.
Now they are mixing it with different shapes and cuts. For example this is being applied to crop tops and ultra skinny jeans. Here I'm giving you a sneak peak at a crop style sweater. This pattern is cute and fun. I know most people would think unless your thin or have a completely flat stomach this look cannot be achieved. There is where I stop you and prove you wrong.
Let's say your a plus size girl , or a little "juicy" as I would say this can still apply. You could wear a printed blouse with a solid vest or sweater over it with skinny jeans! 
The key is to always be aware of your body and always remember to keep it classy!

Today at home on my down time as majority of us do I am watching repeats of my shows. I am not one to watch the craziness of reality television but I do indulge in shows from time to time.
The latest episode of Single Ladies aired and what an episode it was! Strictly on the fashionable side of things it was all about Denise Vasi who plays Raquel on the show. 
All of her looks for this episode I will say were fun and flirty. The styles all complimented her well, even the colors and patterns.
Always remember when picking out colors and patterns for yourself remember to find colors that compliment you. Whether it compliments your complexion or the color in your eyes.
