The Black and White Effect
The summer is in full effect and I'm loving it. Even though it's all about prints this season, it's always fashionable to stick to the basics. Black and white is an old time favorite. Today is one of those days where I have to express why it is a favorite. Basic colors are always in fashion because you can dress them up or down.
Here I have my #ootd dressed up for a beautiful summer day!

Today I have on a simple black high waist maxi skirt from Marshall's. I paired this look with a white racer back cami from Pink by Victoria Secret. I absolutely love their racer back tanks. They come in the most amazing colors every summer and they usually have a great price for them at their semi annual sale.
I have on a heavy plated silver and black statement necklace.
My black and silver studded sandals are also from Marshall's.
Love these they are great for everyday wear!
The great thing I love about this ootd is that it can easily transition from day to night with a simple change of shoes.i would wear some sexy strap heels and a hot clutch to set this look off to go out!
Anyone can wear this look and it's especially fabulous for a backyard BBQ.
